The Sydney Development Circle (SDC) is a networking and knowledge sharing platform open to anyone interested in international aid and community development work at the local, regional and global levels.
SDC represents people of all ages, backgrounds and experience, across diverse development sectors. We strive to offer a programme of innovative events to assist our development community to broaden their knowledge and expand their network of contacts.
Our core activities include:
Seminars and social events
Presenting guest speakers and visiting scholars discussing development issues, cutting edge research and projects
Online networking and information sharing on the SDC groupsite.
Our next seminar will be on Monday, August 4 from 6pm to 8pm.
A SPECIAL SPEED NETWORKING EVENING FOR PEOPLE IN DEVELOPMENT!
Come along and connect with others working in community development and international aid. The session will be facilitated by Lila Kennelly, a development professional with experience working on issues of food and resource security, working with communities to build local capacity and engagement.
It's free to become part of our network, you simply need to register and create your profile here on SDC's groupsite. The more specific you can be, the better you will connect with other SDC members and areas of interest.
