Welcome to the Sydney Development Circle.

The Sydney Development Circle (SDC) is a mentoring and networking group open to anyone interested in international aid and community development at the local, regional and global levels.

SDC represents people of all ages, backgrounds and experience, across diverse development sectors. There are no membership dues. A volunteer steering committee coordinates events, and members are invited to recommend speakers and topics. We collaborate with other Development Circles throughout Australia.

On Monday June 3: meet people working in development from all over the world, working all over the world!

SDC is introducing a social networking opportunity for June.One of the most vibrant parts of our meetings is the buzz and chatter when people start talking and making connections with their work, passions, interests and travel.

Meet like-minded people doing inspirational work here and overseas. June's SDC meeting is all about getting to know each other better, so we're making it a social and networking evening over drinks and dinner.

Meet for drinks from 6:00pm and stay for dinner if you like, from 7:00pm.

What do we do? 

The Sydney Development Circle aims to provide a forum for sharing ideas and resources as well as discussing topical issues with others.

Meetings also give members and guests the opportunity to share information about the organisation they work for and their areas of experience, interest and passion in the field of development both in and out of Australia.

Special interest groups have begun to emerge, and may meet independently at any time, reporting back to the SDC meetings throughout the year.

This site is a meeting place that provides members of Sydney Development Circle with a shared calendar , discussion forums , member profiles , photo gallery , file storage and more.
